Abstract

Fragmentary papers of David Bradley, M.D., Wisconsin-raised writer, teacher, and member of the 1940 U.S. Olympic ski team; which consist of correspondence, drafts, and other materials concerning his book on the Finnish people, "Lion Among Roses;" dispatches sent the Wisconsin State Journal from Finland following the "winter war" in 1940; references to his experiences as a doctor with the Bikini Atoll atom bomb tests of 1946; and a semi-autobiographical essay by his father, Dr. H. C. Bradley.
